Audio Laboratories

 

The Horwood Language Centre has 4 audio-lingual labs for language teaching and self-study purposes.     

Lab A (RM G05)

            Lab A is located on the ground floor of the Horwood Language Centre.   It is designed to accommodate 16 students at a time.   The facilities in Lab A include 16 audio decks, TV/VCR, and an overhead projector.

Lab D (RM 106)

          This classroom offers a flexible and customisable layout, 12 media stations each comprising a DVD player and a flat screen video monitor, a digital media projector, a large wall-mounted screen, a teacher computer station, and plenty of whiteboard space.

Lab E (RM 114)

            Lab E is located on the first floor of the Horwood Language Centre.   It is designed to accommodate 30 students at a time.   The facilities in Lab E include 30 audio decks, TV/VCR, and an overhead projector.

Lab F (RM 116)

            Lab F is located on the first floor of the Horwood Language Centre.   It is designed for self-access.   The facilities in Lab F include 25 audio decks, 14 TVs, 9 VCRs, 4 DVD players and satellite stations.
